    • = Fresh Catch of the Day = hot lead, probably with a firm bid due date. These are mostly Government leads.
    • = Sea to Shining Sea = these Organizations have enough variety in their geographical patterns that we think all Subscribers should have access to this information.
    • = Local Pond = these Organizations show a history of venues specific to your geographical region.
    • = Anchors Aweigh = Military Reunions; These travel Nationwide! At a minimum, these leads will contain the most recent history of the group along with the contact information.

The GrouperLeads.com Filter (located underneath the Legend on the left) will get you cleaning your catch even faster. Here's how to net what you catch:

First, know that in order for any filtering to occur, you must click on the 'Filter Now' button after you select any menu item or type in any keywords. When you are ready to clear your filter choices, you must click on the 'Clear Filter' button.

Also, filtering by Lead Type and filtering by Keyword are cumulative. This means that when you have anything entered into the Filter by Keyword box, this is applied on top of the Lead Type filter. For example, if you had selected "Local Pond" in the Lead Type Filter, and July typed into your Filter by Keyword box, you will only see groups that have met in July in your region.

So, remember, the less you filter, the more you will see!

Here are GrouperLeads.com suggestions for successful filtering:

Filter by Lead type -This will narrow your leads down to a specific type you choose from the drop down list. Your choices are:

  • All - View all leads.
  • Fresh Catch of the Day - View only Fresh Catch leads.
  • Sea to Shining Sea - View only Nationwide leads
  • Anchors Aweigh - View only Military Reunion leads.
  • Regional - View only Local Pond leads.


Filter by Keyword - This will narrow down your results by what you type in the keyword box. The system searches for your keyword in both the title and the commentary of the leads.

GrouperLeads.com strives to use consistent key words and phrases to assist you in narrowing your search. Our suggestions are:

Market Segments
  • Association - this broad segment can include both professional as well as SMERF types of associations.
  • Medical - this segment includes medical and related categories (i.e., pharmaceuticals).
  • Education - this segment includes all organizations involved in schools, teaching, and in some cases, training and continuing education.
  • Legal - this segment includes law enforcement, Homeland Security, justice system.
  • Corporate - this segment includes corporations only.
  • Social - this segment includes all groups who meet primarily for social interaction (i.e., collectors, hobbyists, special interest groups, crafts, and non-military reunions).
  • Fraternal - this segment includes primarily sororities, fraternities, and other fraternal organizations.
  • Sci-Fi - this segment includes all those gamers and other out-of-this-world groups.
  • Religious - includes all churches and faith related organizations.
  • Government - this segment includes most of your "Fresh Catch of the Day" leads plus any other state, local, or federal government groups.
Keywords
  • City and/or State - type in your location and you will see all leads that have your city or state in their commentary (i.e., as a destination), as well as all organizations located within your city or state. And don't negate competitive venues!
  • Categories - type in "training" to see those organizations we were able to identify as specifically trainers, or type in "collectors" to see lots of weekend opportunities.
  • Phrases - we use "to be determined" or "not yet booked"
  • Every time we see something that looks like it's still open.
  • We use terms like "lots" or "extensive" when we comment on organizations which have multiple opportunities. We use "all over the country" when we truly see too many locations to list them all!
  • Month or Season - type in your preferences to see groups that meet over your desired time-frame.
  • Hotel name or brand - see who is meeting at your competitors, both in your region and across the country.
My Private Fishing Hole - this is where you catch and store only those websites that you want to trace for later follow-through. Simply click on the 'Add to My Private Fishing Hole' icon following any lead commentary and that website will be released into your Private Fishing Hole. You will then be able to add your tracing information:
  • Fill in a trace date to bring the website back to your attention
  • Add comments as you wish
  • Click 'Save Changes'
Now watch My Private Fishing Hole icon and if there's a fishing pole there, then you have a trace date occurring.

Of course, anytime you log on to GrouperLeads.com you can go right to My Private Fishing Hole simply by clicking on the icon!

For Managers...
  • Change your Manager Password
    • IMPORTANT: The Manager is responsible for maintaining all Users Accounts. As Manager, You are the only one authorized to make changes to the Manager Password or User Accounts. Protect your password!

      All Passwords are for the sole proprietary use of your current Hotel employees only.

    • Ready?
      • From Subscriber Home Page,
        Click on Manage Users
      • Click I Want to Change My Password
      • Enter current password
      • Enter your new personal password
        • Must be between 5 and 9 characters
        • No spaces
      • Re-enter your new password
      • Click Change Password

  • Create your Users
    • Ready?
      • From Subscriber Home Page,
      • Click on Manage Users
      • Enter a User name — we recommend Hotel Code followed by numbers:

        Ex: HIBRTN1, HIBRTN2, etc. this way, only passwords need changing if members of your Sales Staff change.

      • Enter a Password for this User
      • Click Add User
      • Users will appear on top left scroll down menu
      • To Delete User, highlight User from Users scroll down menu; click on Delete User
      • To Edit User, highlight User from Users scroll down menu; click on Edit User; make changes to User name or password; click on Apply Changes

  • Your Users' Private Fishing Holes
    • As Manager, you have the ability to view your Sales Team's Private Fishing Holes. You can access their leads, comments and trace dates. Simply click on their name, found next to My Private Fishing Hole.
